NHS sea swimming course – Thursday 8 September at 9.30am and then every Thursday for the rest of September.

Just £5 per session as this initiative is part funded by Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals.

The course is open to all staff and is designed to be an introduction to sea swimming. It’s suitable for all levels including beginners.  The course will have space for twelve people but it’s flexible so people don’t have to do every week.

Kate is an RSCH midwife who did the course last year:  ‘The course really helped me gain confidence sea swimming. It’s now a regular habit to make it down to the sea during a work day. I find I can cope with almost anything after a bit of a swim – it really clears my head – so I’m sure I work a lot better for it. Hopefully I will keep it up as the weather gets a bit harsher.’
