We are delighted to welcome Sir Anthony Seldon, historian, educationalist and Patron of Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals, for an evening discussing his latest book, The Path of Light: Walking to Auschwitz, published by Atlantic Books.

In this powerful new work, Sir Anthony retraces a 1,300km route across Europe to Auschwitz, uncovering the stories of individuals who chose courage and moral clarity in the darkest of times.

Written between 2023 and 2025, the book reflects on what those lives can teach us about responsibility and peace today.

Described as “a formidable achievement” and “profound and compelling”, this promises to be a thoughtful conversation.
