Memories of Royal Sussex County Hospital

The Crucible is a new initiative for collecting memories and stories about Royal Sussex County Hospital, to capture its heritage and share the role it has played in the lives of Brighton & Hove residents, including staff, patients and the wider community.

Join graphic novelist and storyteller Daniel Locke for a drawing, reminiscence and storytelling workshop this summer. Share your memories of the Royal Sussex County Hospital and learn how to recreate them as your own beautiful illustrations. Whatever your links with the hospital, Daniel will introduce you to the techniques of making a graphic novel through hands-on drawing and collage. Or, if you prefer, come along for tea and cake and bring your memories to share with the group.

To sign up for one of the free workshops, see www.thecrucible.org.uk

Workshop dates, times and venues:
* Tues, 23 July 2019 / 10 - 1pm - University of Brighton.
* Weds, 28 August 2019 / 1 - 4pm - The Hop 50+, Hove.
* Fri, 6 Sept 2019 / 6 - 8pm - RSCH site.
