About Us

Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals (formerly the League of Hospital & Community Friends – Brighton, Hove & Newhaven) support healthcare services across the City.

Raising money through legacies, donations, membership subscriptions and events the charity provides funds for innovative new equipment and additional patient comforts at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Mill View Hospital and in local communities across the city.

We also raise money through our Charity Shop in Kemp Town, our café at the Park Centre for Breast Care and the Tea Bar at Hove Polyclinic.

Friends support healthcare services at:

Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust which provides acute hospital services at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

We also support services for patients in Brighton & Hove, Newhaven and Peacehaven provided by these Trusts:

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust:  mental health services.

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust: community healthcare services in the City - helping people to recover, stay healthy and live independently.
